Like this Cairelli: it should have been issued long before the 58mm clocks, IMHO

Zenith - Please reissue this diver

 By: nilomis : January 29th, 2014-05:54
Team, Today I bumped on a friend that owns this beauty and we are discussing Zenith and the current product line. We concluded that Zenith needs a diver and ... why not this one? Imagine a reissue, 42mm (please!!!), powered by a El Primero 400Z (no date, ...

+1 Agree with you nt

 By: SALMANPK : January 29th, 2014-06:54
nt

yes, it is a great watch but...

 By: Goldenlutin : January 29th, 2014-08:11
I already have one. Therefore I selfishly hope that they will not flood the market with re-editions :)))))) ...

just for you :)

 By: Goldenlutin : January 29th, 2014-08:31
certainly, but I have two of these :) ...

WHAT????

 By: amanico : January 29th, 2014-08:38
You are kidding me, right? 2 Air Command??? Half the production of this Watch? :) :) :) Best, Nicolas

no, I am not kidding :)

 By: Goldenlutin : January 29th, 2014-08:46
here is the second one (sorry for the ugly strap, it was on the watch when I bought it). ...

OK, I am just dead.

 By: amanico : January 29th, 2014-09:04
I know two guys here, in Paris who each own one... But I never " met " someone who owned two! ;) If you ever want to let one go... You know who to call! Best, Vlad dracul, Draculed. ;)

Wow - 2 Air Commands?

Truly amazing. They don't get much rare than that. Feel free to post as many scans as you like of these beauties. Darren

But the reedition should have a Zenith EP inside ...

 By: nilomis : January 29th, 2014-08:30
Yours don't have a EP inside. Cheers, Nilo

It was not long ago...

 By: Spellbound : January 29th, 2014-10:39
It was not long ago that Zenith had a good diver. 1000m, Helium escapement, El Primero movement, and innovative use of new alloy, Zenithium for the shock absorbing balance bridge, composed of Titanium, Aluminium and Niobium. Only problem with this one was...

Allow me to disagree ...

 By: nilomis : January 29th, 2014-11:45
This one, from Nataf days, was an extreme design. Not for everyone tastes, me included. What I'm campaign is a more conservative diver that can explore the past with today's technology. The target is our average desk diver that don't plan to carry an anch...

*shudder* ...

Sorry, couldn't help. In my personal opinion, this watch should be used to test its material in the Mariana Trench - and stay there. Marcus

Fair enough

 By: Spellbound : February 3rd, 2014-03:46
But this watch has served me well. The Defy Extreme owners I have encountered are an eclectic and stylish bunch, and certainly not boring or conformist.

It's a matter of taste ...

 By: nilomis : February 3rd, 2014-04:39
What could be this planet if everyone liked the same thing? But the Marianas Trench was a great destination (sorry Dean, I also could not resist). Cheers, Nilo

Actually...

 By: Spellbound : February 3rd, 2014-04:45
I thought comments like your Mariana Trench comment were reserved for forums like Watchuseek which is one of the reasons why I left there and set up home here. But I guess there is trash talk everywhere. Well I have a lot to learn from style gurus like yo...

Don't take this as personal ...

 By: nilomis : February 3rd, 2014-04:50
It was a simple joke to light up a boring Monday. Enjoy your watch. Cheers, Nilo

I apologize ...

 By: Marcus Hanke : February 3rd, 2014-07:51
... but having accompanied Zenith a long time before they had the permission to be sold in the United States, I still consider the Nataf era to be the abyss in this great brand's history - designwise, as well as marketing-wise. Just thinking of the brand ...

You obviously don't get it

 By: Spellbound : January 29th, 2014-23:08
...

Ah ... A Cairelli ...

 By: nilomis : January 30th, 2014-05:23
For sure and the line may be even bigger. One thing that Omega seems to be doing fine (bar the obsession shared with all manufacturers with the huge watches) is to look back to their portfolio and bring updated versions (Bullhead, Speedmaster MK II etc.)....

what about the DeLuca??

 By: taylorkimdds : February 19th, 2014-09:41
wish I had some pictures to post, but I would love for them to reissue the DeLuca....sigh......I'll take that over any modern Daytona's...... best taylor

And why not ...

 By: nilomis : February 19th, 2014-09:55
Very desirable, in special the ones without "mercedes" hands. (Picture from ) That is what I call a desired watch. Cheers, Nilo ...

thank you!!!!

 By: taylorkimdds : February 19th, 2014-10:30
yes!! that's the exact model I am talking about...!! here's hoping Zenith looks backward to move forward...:) cheers taylor

True ...

 By: nilomis : February 19th, 2014-10:40
Amazes me how the watch manufacturers plays with their assets. Zenith has, as we saw on this thread, many assets on the past that could boost the company. Cheers, Nilo

Not only that diver...

 By: AlexSunrise : January 30th, 2014-21:22
But a full collection of Divers, Nilo. A time only based on the Elite or Espada caliber and a chrono would be in order and would be an instant hit! For some reason I suspect that soon Zenith might surprise us with one based on the Stratos aesthetics. Call...
