The colored dial lay-out is an hommage to the original Rainbow Flyback(originally designed for the French army)
The original Rainbow collection was made from the end of the 80’s till the early 2000.

Zenith Stratos Flyback & Rainbow
I found both those watches in the local dealer, I think their production is discontinued. 45 mm is a good size for me, I like the iconic tricolor subdial combination as it looks very cool, the rainbow looks nice too need your opinion, should I go for one,...
I have always liked the Rainbow -- it's got a cool vibe.
As for the Stratos Flyback -- it's pretty, but I could never go for a Zenith where the hours subdial obscures portions of the other two subdials.
