Re creation of the 1969 A3642, 37mm with Elite 670 movement Photos from article January 17th 2022 ...  

It looks a bit blocky and unrefined. As a re creation it does embody the period from which it’s from. Now perhaps a refined, less chunky, interpretation that channels the era, more vintage than the modern Defy, would be more appealing? Looks friendlier in...

A big zenith fan …. But this 🤮 First of all, if you do a re-edition , at least take a watch that is popular This old defy never sold and the original 1970 pieces are available all over the place Even at less than 1000 euro nobody wants them. And I know th... 

I guess there are enough people producing period diver reissues around to make them feel there is a market for them, I say them because on the original Zenith Instagram post it hinted at more editions. I personally see more value in leveraging the iconic ... 

I still see limited run Zenith from 10 years ago I wanted then and still consider now in the market unworn so... yes, pretty niche release but i'm sure some fans already have their order in, it's cool for what it is...

But I could get an Omega 300 for less, and several other options. You would really need to be a big Defy fan, maybe there are 250 out there...

I like this one...I didn't really know this model existed. I could see Zenith coming out with a new version after this one with larger case, more integrated bracelet, and hopefully a better date treatment...and I could see it being a huge success. People ... 

But is it likely Zenith invested this much to only produce 250 pieces?
