Firstly, a special thank you to Yacomino for this marvellous and leisurely ‘Summer Vibes’ theme! Certainly an appetizer to the glorious summer that we will all see rise in all its glory over the coming months!
Before I render my impartial verdict for Best Wrist Shot, as locum judge, I just wanted to highlight some special mentions to the following:
Stoikos’s very cool and rebellious shot with his Omega Speedmaster! An amalgamation of summer soul, adrenaline, and enjoying life to its full. 😎
Filip’s Cartier Pasha is elegantly shot, and which appears to have a shadow by the green grass of him saluting the coming summer (or sunrise?). 😆
Chronometer’s mesmerizing Radiomir with that sunlight crescent! 🌙
Cpt Scarlet for this strikingly blue summer sandal theme with the distinctive Tudor Pelagos FXD! The blue is so deep and blinding from those rays that I almost forget the blue (and yellow) from that virtuous NATO strap! 🫣👍
As for the winning entries:
Third Place Titanium goes to hans_jorgen_1968’s incredible shot of his Omega by the beach! The sparkling waters reflecting that sunlight, and the enigmatic glow surrounding that timepiece. 👍
Second Place Tantalum goes to Subexplorer for this photo that captures everything about the summer, from the piece of coral, cap, sunglasses, and that wonderfully stylish Bulova all laid out on a beach chair, and all basking in the warmth of that sunlight. I particularly liked the palm trees and sun sneaking within the reflection of those Ray Bans! 😎👌
And for First Place Platinum, it has to be FabR’s lively, eclectic, and soulful carousel of summer photos, and not forgetting his accompanying Negroni Cocktail(s) by his side! So many to choose from, but I think the double cocktail with the Rolex Milgauss summarises all quite nicely, with the beaming light from above, and what looks like a thumbs up while checking the latest WatchProSite thread? 😂 Now that’s passion! 🙌
There were so many really good photos and I wish I could have mentioned all, but had to force myself to limit my selection.
Thank you again to everyone, and to Chronometer, Subexplorer, Dr No and the rest of the Wristscan moderators.
All the best,
KCL
