I wanted one since it was released and being able to find a NOS at montblanc boutique a few years back was just perfect. I love the 39mm dimensions, cal 13.21 minerva monopusher movement, the case shape, enamel dial, and pulso scale. Top finishing IMO My ...

About 2 years. I’m a sucker for blue dials and sector dials and I love the case design and how versatile it is - equally at home with a T shirt or suit.

Two more current loves …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 3rd, 2024-23:09
The new white dial Speedmaster is a current love but my wife refers to the Porsche as my mistress 😉 🤷🏼‍♂️ ...

That Omega is a stunner!

By: Timeout : May 4th, 2024-07:04
Tried one on in the Bond Street boutique and awaiting it to land at my local AD. Can honestly say that I prefer it to the latest white dial Daytona.

Thank you …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 6th, 2024-12:00
Excellent build quality and sublime engineering add up to a great package.

Significantly better range …

The order books are open now, and Porsche says the 2025 model year Taycans (both sedan and Cross Turismo variants) will arrive at dealers in the summer of 2024.

Both wonderful…

By: KMII : May 5th, 2024-11:54
But as you can imagine I have a special weakness for the watch in your opening shot 😁👍🏻👏🏻

One you might expect and one you might not!

By: Spangles - Dr. Tabby : May 4th, 2024-01:28
I love this one x1000! Just picked up this one today as a reward for making it through the first stage of aggressive chemo! This is such a lovely, un-camera-able watch! It's more green blue, deep teal with a wonderful depth to the dial, almost like a holo...

A truly cool watch, even if it might need some time…

By: KMII : May 5th, 2024-11:57
To reach the legendary status and spread of the FF - but it’s got the right elements 👌🏻👍🏻

Now this is a rare bird…

By: KMII : May 5th, 2024-11:57
Not many IWCs being of the monopusher configuration 👌🏻👍🏻

Thank you for hosting this WS dear Captain.

By: Watchonthewrists : May 4th, 2024-06:02
I still love them all but these are in rotation right now and get the most love for this moment Hagwe 🤗🙏🏻 ...

Love that 1942 Remontoire.

By: Timeout : May 4th, 2024-07:05
And the Ostrich strap choice is spot on - great texture and color match!

Hello dear friend …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 4th, 2024-07:42
I feel the love for every single watch in your photos. The textured dial finish on your CVDK looks particularly good in the photo. Best regards Captain

Your collection is truly epic…

By: KMII : May 5th, 2024-11:59
And the current rotation is no exception! Btw. what’s the strap on the CvdK?

This one!!

By: KURT_DAVID : May 4th, 2024-06:45

Thanks for your kind comment, Abel.

My favourite PRX …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 4th, 2024-17:12
The blue dial and strap combo looks so good. Is this a recent addition ? My pleasure to host this edition of WristScan for our community.

Thanks Captain!

By: KURT_DAVID : May 4th, 2024-18:29
Yes it is a great combination. It was a present from my good lady with zero input and knowledge from me. Life is full of good surprises!

Good morning Captain.

By: Timeout : May 4th, 2024-07:09
Thanks for hosting this month. I just have one watch with me for the next two weeks on vacation so I guess this qualifies🤣 ...

Thanks Captain.

By: Timeout : May 5th, 2024-10:17
So many interesting things going on with this movement - not the least of which is the slightly off-center rotor. So much attention to detail - and the use of RG 😳

Thanks Abel.

By: Timeout : May 5th, 2024-10:19
This is definitely my perpetual which is easiest on the eyes. I’ll happily forgo the Moonphase for all data being available in windows!

Is it enough to be in love with a watch for 35+ years?

By: fmc000 : May 4th, 2024-12:01
My father bought this watch new in 1977. It was given to me when I graduated from the High School in 1988. It was on my wrist when I graduated from the University, when i got married and when my first daughter was born. Got it back from service yesterday ...

Great to hear your story …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 4th, 2024-17:23
It gives context to this modern classic. I have fond memories of owning an identical one for many years, finally trading it for a new blue dial Submariner. In many ways I wish I still owned it 🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s a nice Longines..

By: KURT_DAVID : May 4th, 2024-16:27
However, there is one watch in your collection that is slowly, quietly seducing me. I am growing towards a Ranger but I need to try. I was hoping/wishing for a white or cream dial variant to be released this year, maybe next, I live in hope lol! It’s a gl...

Nice collection of watches and photos …

By: Cpt Scarlet : May 4th, 2024-17:31
Good to have you joining us this weekend, especially with the husband and wife set at the end.

That looks great!

By: TeutonicCarFan : May 4th, 2024-17:04
Sometimes I think moser has gone too extreme with nothing on the dial at all. This is peak for me, nice clean organized dial 👍

hehe...i haven't been wearing my GMTM for a while....

By: S F : May 5th, 2024-12:13

Your Hautlence Linear Series 2 looks fantastic ! … especially when paired with your leather jacket. Great style.

Now that’s a watch not commonly seen…

By: KMII : May 5th, 2024-12:09
And given the numbers produced that’s likely to remain that way 😁 Great choice and huge congratulations 🎈🎊🎉

Thank you so much, dear Abel! 🙏☺️

By: MTR : May 6th, 2024-09:10
Yes, I think it’s a good combination. ☺️ It was “an unplanned purchase which I couldn’t resist” - like your Bathyscaphe… LOLLL Your Aqua Lung is out of this world. All the best Thomas ...

A great combination it is dear Thomas. When these unplanned opportunities arrive we should decide if jumping on them... or not. Most proably we will regret in the future if we don´t do it.

By: Subexplorer : May 6th, 2024-13:38
It all depends on the piece and our financial condition when the opportunity arrives!! Lol!! So I can only say: Well done Thomas! I´m glad you like the Agua Lung FF. This was a very desired piece which had been haunting me for many years. Enjoy your watch...

My Nord and my Cartier.

By: brauner : May 5th, 2024-06:14
Two totally different watches. I love both. Like it is possible in life. See the movie "Les Choses de la Vie" with Michel Piccoli. When you have to decide. ...

Both look superb …

Hi Hussam, I’m with you on the choice of watches you are sharing with us this weekend. The Rolex is a great choice as is your FPJ. The “No Time To Die” Seamaster looks very cool in your photo and the Frodsham is absolutely sublime. As you said, so London ...

Sadly, I’ve never been to the workshop. My wife went once and she was enamored (Which says A lot about Richard and the atelier). I was supposed to go last September, but Had to cancel at the last minute.

By: Lankysudanese : May 6th, 2024-08:25
I hope to finally meet Richard and handle the watches this November. To me, the experience of talking to Richard and ordering the watch was so rewarding, that I can only imagine what the final ownership experience will be like

Here is my contribution, Captain!
