This is not an easy task for me, as the range of my watches, which I also like to wear at the weekend, is very large.
So I'm trying to limit myself.
1.
I'll start with my newest acquisition, which certainly doesn't seem "typical" and might be seen as rather unconventional:
My Corum Bubble 47 X-RAY, limited to 88 pieces, which should remind me again and again how short life and how valuable every minute of life is. Especially at the weekend, when I can relax a bit from the stress of the working week, that feels good and is important for me.
2.
My Panerai 721, a Radiomir that is really comfortable and excellent to wear. Uncomplicated, reliable, radiating calm. For all circumstances.
3.
My Zenith Pilot Montre dβAΓ©ronef Type 20.
A "monster" that fascinates me again and again. This is the only watch that I really only wear in my spare time. ItΒ΄s case size is 57 mm...
In 2012 (year of publication) it won the international award "Mechanical Watch of the Year 2012".
The heart of Zenith's Pilot AΓ©ronef Type 20 (limited to 250 pieces) is the legendary in-house hand-wound movement 5011K. It was considered the most accurate in the world in 1967 and received over 300 awards and prizes. Some records are held up to this day.
4.
It cannot and must not be missing. My grail watch: IWC Minute Repeater in platinum (2nd generation limited to 100 pieces and still with the old movement 95290 which shows the seconds at 9).
I've been looking for her for a long time. I flew to Milan especially to get hold of this gem. It gives you peace and strength. And especially at the weekend I have the time and leisure to admire her beauty and grace. Just like the enchanting sound of the minute repeater.
Have a nice weekend
