WristScan 27-July Bracelet-Watches starts now....

Jul 26, 2018,07:01 AM

Friends,

let me open the WS thread a couple of hours early as I will be going out.

A strong heatwave is keeping a strong grip on Europe with highs close to 40 Celsius, so there really is no other option than....

Bringing out the Metal...whether vintage...

Or modern....

A bracelet is just the best choice in this weather.

So let's all see your bracelet watches in this week's WS!

Happy sweating.

I am especially partial to the first and 4th photos/watches.

Well, I need to get sorted for the upcoming trip anyway.

Not bad for a beater.

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : July 26th, 2018-08:11
Not bad at all. But, why limit it just to Switzerland?

That’s where it lives. [nt]

A couple out of the box...

 By: pplater : July 26th, 2018-20:34
This is at risk of becoming the APRO thread! However, it has to be one of the all-time great bracelets, doesn’t it? Subtly different bracelets (the older one feels a little bit ‘tinny’, but the bracelet on the Sapphire Sandwich is solidly made): Stupidly ...

Gracias, Abel! [nt]

 By: Boris : July 26th, 2018-20:40

Three very strong contenders!

 By: crown comfort : July 27th, 2018-06:48
and a Seamaster in its natural habitat...at the cocktail

It seems the Seamaster is a strong contender for your second favourite dive watch, Zabreg

 By: KMII : July 29th, 2018-01:44
That nothing can touch the FF is clear, given the connection And the Overseas is great, as always!

Hello dear CC! I will play with these bracelet equipped watches...

 By: Subexplorer : July 27th, 2018-07:27
... for this week end WS. Though I’m fond of wearing watches with leather straps, these ones are watches which I like best wih their original metal bracelets. I wish you and all our dear friends here a fantastic week end! Cheers! Abel ...

Is heart-stoppingly beautiful!

My IWC ref 3070, a special watch with great size , tonneau shaped case make this a Lovely 70`s watch.

 By: Ron_W : July 27th, 2018-08:16
Only 600 produced for IWC in total, 300 as Da Vinci, and 300 in this model sometimes called the International. Half of those in steel so quite a A fine companion, either dress or sporty in this record Dutch heat at 39 C. Folded steel bracelet and Always ...

One I didn't know! [nt]

 By: amanico : July 27th, 2018-16:50

That must mean It is an obscure watch.....;-) It is the only IWC watch from that period that is right in size as many of these smaller round watches are to small for me

 By: Ron_W : July 29th, 2018-05:00
Somehow the rectangular case of only 36mm wide, looks much bigger on the wrist, is within my budget and represents something special in mechanics, design or history. These are my usual reasons for buying a watch. The other one being : i just love that wat...

Thanks ! [nt]

Comfortable bracelet, gotta count the BP X-71 in. Cheers! ...

Difficult one for me...

 By: KMII : July 28th, 2018-07:37
Since I mostly get attracted to non-bracelet watches and often replace the bracelet with a strap even if there is one that makes it into my stash. Still, some pictures with the Olympic principle in mind: Have a great weekend! ...

Well, it is still less than 10%...

 By: KMII : July 28th, 2018-10:25
And in terms of wrist time much less. Wanted to take fresh pictures but since three family members are sick... Thanks CC!
