Let this one go …

Really enjoyed this Rolex for a while, but decided to let someone else.  Was not the size as I like and can wear larger watches (like the Panerai 127 I own now), but the weight was getting to be a bit much.

Looking to replace with Pepsi model.

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 16th, 2022-13:19
Hello dear friends ! This weekend starting on Friday, our theme for WristScan is all about the watches that entered our collections and some that possibly left during 2022. Feel free to include any accessories that also joined your collections. Hopefully,...

It must have been a difficult decision to trade the Omega Seamaster and the other three.

It was

 By: Aquaracer1 : December 16th, 2022-17:06
Difficult to part with the 2254, although I still have one Seamaster left in rotation, the blue aqua terra which is a very versatile daily

The BB58 blue

 By: Aquaracer1 : December 16th, 2022-17:11
Was also charming and difficult to part with, however I still have the Sub to scratch that itch! It was easy to move the RG JLC when I knew the 1815 is it’s replacement 😎

Absolutely!!

Consolidation…

 By: KMII : December 17th, 2022-07:15
Is a skill I have yet to develop 😉 But knowing what is going in on your end I definitely understand your choice 👌🏻👍🏻

In!

A Lange and a Seamaster …

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 16th, 2022-16:49
That’s a great combo !

Thank you!

 By: Aquaracer1 : December 16th, 2022-17:07
For my rotation, I am left with Sub, Aqua Terra and Lange! My tantalizing trio 😂

Very tantalising 😉

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 17th, 2022-11:31

Huge congratulations on your incomings 🎉🎊🎈

 By: KMII : December 17th, 2022-07:16
The Lange is sublime of course but the Seamaster also has a very appealing understated element to it 👌🏻👍🏻

That 1815 Lange is pure eye candy!

In either case a fitting finale 🙌🏻👏🏻👌🏻

It’s a great piece, I had the first gen Cameron —congrats!

I love the dial …

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 17th, 2022-11:39
But I feel that full titanium was the way to go, as its a better option for a superlative dive watch of this size.

No outs…

Looks like you had a very productive hunting this year dear friend KM! The Laine is such a gorgeous watch! Same for the WPS Hentschel of course.

It’s been a weird year…

 By: KMII : December 17th, 2022-07:22
And not just watch wise 😉 All the additions came in the first half and to be honest I had a bit of ‘horofatigue’ for the rest of the year. Not even sure if there’s anything tugging at my heartstrings sufficiently for me to go for it in 2023 🤷🏻‍♂️ One inde...

Horofatigue …

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 17th, 2022-11:46
It’s definitely something that we all get from time to time as our collection reaches a certain point.

I guess so…

 By: KMII : December 17th, 2022-18:39
The behavior of the watch manufacturers isn’t helping, either 😉

It’s very draining…

 By: Cpt Scarlet : December 17th, 2022-19:01
Having to provide a pint of blood every time you fancy a watch 😉

Ha ha ha! True!

 By: Subexplorer : December 17th, 2022-20:04

These days, generosity doesn’t come back. I’ve gave 2 watches away to 2 friends. They never reciprocate and it feels like a one way street. One even hinted for me to buy another for him. It told me a lot.
