Hello dear Captain! Moser new watches show a daring concept specially in a watch using the blackest black color on dial and black handset which surprisingly can be seen with ease.

Personally, I´ve been waiting with special interest to see the novelties from Tudor and Rolex. In the case of Rolex in the last few years I don´t wait for the new models with same enthusiasm of before in spite being a fan of the brand for so many decades.
Thing is that I don´t care too much about new models which I can´t buy at official prices in a brand AD or Boutique. As a matter of fact, I can´t even view them in the metal as those shops have no watches in their windows or displays.
I was expecting a Coke GMT but this year Rolex surprises with a "Destro" GMT and a green/black bezel (Sprite model?) instead. I confess it didn´t make my heart beat faster.
The new Air King? Mmmm... I would have preferred keeping the more traditional no crown guards case in this model with just a change of dial design.
In the meantime I keep waiting for the Titanium no date Yatchmaster whose prototype appeared on Sailor Ben Ainslie wrist last year.
Tudor: I liked the new BB Pro which somehow makes a good replacement of the usually unavailable Explorer 2 from Rolex. Not much love for the new Two Tone versions of BB GMT and chrono. I was expecting a new BB GMT in 58 model size but it didn´t come.
Cartier: I loved the news of new version of their classic "grille" Pasha again available.
Speaking of return of old models, I was greatly impressed with the new version of Model 222 from Vacheron Constantin a watch designed in 1977 by Jorg Hyseck to celebrate the 222nd Anniversary of the brand that year. What a wonderful watch in my eyes!
Last but not least: I loved the new models announced by Patek. I´m crazy for salmon dials with "white metal" cases combos and they introduced the 5172G chrono and 5320g Perpetual Calendar in this configuration. Breathtaking! I also liked very much their new Calatrava 5226G though I´m sad they discontinued the lovely 5196P.
I´m enclosing pictures of mentioned watches below.
Have a great weekend dear Captain and all our dear friends here!
Cheers! Abel
