Treasure island not as a book, but a song .... a song for whisky drinker.

If you want to strech it to the 90ies. There it ended. Grunch was also quite good, but belongs to the 90ies as well.

However, I didn't have the muse to focus on them. There was Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Velvet Underground and Smashing Pumpkins. All a different kind of Rock style than the 50ies - 70ies Rock.

. . . for the denouement. October 1989, the Los Angeles Coliseum. The Stones played four sold out shows. 100,000+ each night. And who opened for them? None other. Yours truly was there for three of the four. I knew then it was a special moment in time.

As we say in French: "La pression, je prefere la boire".

It's a big honor to be the guest host of the WristScan, and hopefully the theme will be interesting. I will post it later today.
