Watch of the Week results:

Sep 08, 2019,10:34 AM

First of all, thanks to our Captain for another original, entertaining, and very much wristshot-provoking Wristscan session this week! It was as usual a big pleasure and lots of fun to go through such a beautiful and hard-to-rank selection of watches smile

But before we get to the more typical winners, let me begin today by assigning a special meta-award for "non-Watch of the Week" (or of the Year?)...in the hopes that, as we keep traveling ahead in time, Rolex will decide to again supply those beautiful windows the way it used to in its glorious past! smile  [Picture credit to the Captain]

And now on to the real award winners: At #3, Watch-guy and his iconic Patek 5575...

It's hard for a five-year-old watch to be already a classic, especially in a most competitive and successful category like that of Patek Worldtimers...but it was clear since the day it was announced that this Anniversary edition would have checked all the boxes! Congrats Watch-guy on owning a historic and most important reference. smile

Our runner-up of the week is Tim Jackson with his gorgeous Vianney Halter... A true indie gem with its perfect proportions and important presence on the wrist despite the limited size -- all in all, an original and sophisticated choice!

And finally, the winner of Watch of the Week is Kristjan (KMII) with his spectacular VC... In my opinion, one of the most elegant watches you can put on your wrist -- and a gentle reminder that any one of our daily activities, including traveling in time, can be done in style! smile

Have a great week ahead Everyone! smile

I too loved that 1972 VC and it almost pipped the Doxa for the winners stand, but I preferred the composition of the Doxa for it to win. Cheers. Tim

Big congrats. That VC 1972 is definitely a well served winner.
