the fall of the Berlin wall with an Glashütte Navimatic diving watch from 1974 used by the east-german NVA (Nationale Volksarmee). A.Lange und Söhne changed after the end of WW2, first to UROFA (Uhrenrohfabrikation Glashütte) and then in the 50's to GUB (Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe) The GUB produced watches under the name of Glashütte. After the end of the GDR in 1989, Glashütte splitted in Glashütte Original, A.Lange und Söhne, NOMOS Glashütte, Mühle-nautische Instrumente, and Bruno Söhnle-Glashütte. A rare and historical watch from the 'cold war' era! HAG8WE

My concept design for Lange's next watch. I would of course manufacture it as a wrist watch in Platinum, WG, and SS. Then remove the sub-seconds and add a rich blued S.C. seconds hand. I mean for the date to be outsized. HAGWE! -- Richard....
