The Devil is in the Details! The Veredicts...
Dec 19, 2021,18:46 PM
Hello dear friends!
It has been a very enjoyable weekend and I´m happy with the answers received around our Theme for this last WS event of this year 2021.
We have received many superb shots sharing the favorite Devilish details on the watches of our participants. They are truly awesome and it is easy to understand that they add to the charm and joy of owning these wonderful watches. Thank you so much to all participants for their shots and comments.
Here are my veredicts for the three categories: (photographs of winning shots will be posted at the end of veredicts)
Best Wrist Shot:
Third place goes for Stoikos and his Red ceramic Sea Dweller shown in all its glory.
Second place for S F and his great shot of his early GMT niple dial. Love how S F captured the nipples and handset playing with the light and watch angle.
First place is for...
Ludi and his Devilish "triple six" Caravelle diver in a very nice shot on ladies wrist.
Best Static Shot:
Second place goes to Yacomino / Chronometer for his stunning front case shot of his AP RO timepiece.
First place is for...
Hans_Jorgen and his 007 Aqua Terra case back showing the devilish rotor center and matching loupe. Great composition!
Best Watch of the Week category:
Second place for Art and his wonderful Niklaus Berne Omega. A classic beautiful watch enhanced by a double signature dial. A Devilish detail indeed.
First place for...
Speedy74 and his absolutely Devilish Moser & Cie red dial and matching straps.
Finally:
I wished to award an Special Category for our Theme of this weekend: "Awesome Devil´s detail of the Week" which is shared by the following participants in equal shares:
Captain Scarlet and his Moonshine Speedmaster with the imbedded moon made with a lunar meteorite piece
KMII and the awesome handset of his Raketa Avangarde
Hdm4m and his ref 5247 Breguet chrono with several devilish details: secret signature, red seconds hand, Breguet numerals and handset and red snail scale.
Terbaboom and his TAG Heuer chrono depicting a Trident armed Devil on one of its sub dials.
Big Congrats to all winners and thank you so much to all participants for answering my challenge. I enjoyed so much hosting and I hope everybody had a great time like I did.
Please receive my best cordial regards and best wishes for next Xmas celebrations and for New Year 2022. Be it with much Peace and lots of Good Health friends!
Cheers! Abel
