Why some watch manufacturers, and other areas of work, are very shy to do a clean re edition of past glories. It's rare to see a clean re edition and, that is my source of wonder, when this happens, the watch is a success. Examples: Longines with the LLD,... 

It is not a re edition at all. It is a fiction. Therefore, when a re edition is released, you will always have people thinking " Hey, these re editions are the evidence the brands have no imagination ". When they don't go for re editions, people os thinki... 

... as there seems to be two schools of thought on re-editions. But is long as there are enough buyers on both sides of the fence they can be content that they are supplying the market with good product. A

i've got into the habit of always wearing 2 watches unless i'm going somewhere where people might notice and make comment. i see no issue with it and it ensures that more of them get worn. i usually mix up the styles, but for some reason i've got 2 seamas...

i watched the first series, but after that it was pretty much the same every episode so i switched to Bones.

but Season 6 was a bit of a let down.

i really like that Thunderbird (or turn-o-graph ), it would be a Rolex i'd be proud to wear, but SS with gold bezel would be my preference. for now i just manage with a simple non date oyster. G

... Yes, its true an steel and gold bezel example offers a more tranquil image on the wrist. You may find my other TOG in that configuration in my post about Thunderbirds. They got quite a different personality indeed. Always a beautiful and under rated r...
