My absolutely latest is this spezimatic that I picked up last week. I’ve got a few spezi(matic|cron) and manual winding vintage GUBs. Haven’t purchased any for several years actually, but this one was a bit of an impulse buy. I had never seen one with a hand painted dial like this. Most of mine have applied markers.
Maybe it is a redial, painted by a 14-year-old Bulgarian girl, but I don’t mind,
because… I like it. I like it a lot.
The lume is decent still, except on the 12 (and whole top of the dial really). The case is pretty rough but that shouldn’t be hard to fix, the crystal polished up nicely already.

Believe it or not but underneath lays a perfect early 5512 dial....
with no imperfections. Obviously I am choosing a photo that expresses it in a bad light but the dirt is real. Bill
