As for nibs, I have really never liked any standard nib besides maybe a couple Sailor nibs. All of the pens I own have had their nibs custom ground by a nibmeister during the ordering process or after I received them if they were no longer available.
I find having a custom grind for your type of writing is essential. It's sort of like buying a nice, high-end suit which is already amazing BUT comparing that to a bespoke suit is like night and day. Once you experience a custom grind nib to your exacting standards and your form of writing, there is no going back ππ€ͺ
