Several shots could've taken top honors in the Wrist Scan category . . .
Sep 13, 2020,15:52 PM
. . . going by conventional standards, starting with Pierre's Lusina . . .
. . . with exquisitely positioned hour, minute, and constantly running seconds hands.
All of these were impressive: S F's Bulova with sake . . .
. . . Nico's naval Longines . . .
. . . Ludi's Sekonda (MADE IN USSR really does it for me, Fred!) . . .
. . . Watchonthewrist's utterly charming reptilian photo . . .
. . . and futuristic Bulova.
All worthy submissions, but there were two humble bargains that resonated personally.
Second place goes to Will's KS chronometer . . .
. . . which I would love to add to my collection. Stellar photo, sweet Seiko, Will - congrats!
First place goes to Fernando for sharing a humble Zenith . . .
. . . that I came ever so close to acquiring a few years ago. An identical Zenith Defy was offered on a local Craigslist for less than some guys spend on an alligator strap. Why I didn't buy it is a mystery . . . it wasn't the money, that's for sure. A humble watch and a bargain to boot - unbeatable! Congrats, Fernando.
Hope you've enjoyed this session of Wrist Scan, folks, and see you all next week!
