. . . and we'll be bending the rules a bit, so please read on.

When our Captain asked if I could moderate this weekend's session I replied in the affirmative, having forgotten that not only was I going to be tied up Saturday with an alphabet soup gang g-t-g, but also hanging out with Timerider Friday thru Sunday.  I almost asked Cap to switch assignments.

Then, a thought dawned: why not have a global community g-t-g?  Participants get to post watches they'd normally bring to a local g-t-g, as well as their lunch and libations. 

So here's how this week's session will play out: I'll enter the first post Friday on my way to pick up Timerider from the airport.  Replies should have a description of the watch (or watches) you're bringing to our global g-t-g along with a pic of Friday's (or Saturday's) lunch. 

Since g-t-g's are about sharing, there will be no judging involved this week.  It's all for one and one for all!  Let me know if you have questions, as this will be our first attempt at a global gathering.
