Hello friends, WristScan is now live ! This weekend the theme for WristScan is: “ It’s all about the detail” .. and I have the honour of being your host. We make the decision to buy a watch for our collection based on many factors, but one important facto...
However sometimes painful for our ladies, what connects me to my wife's watches is the mechanical movement. This is why I displayed it on the side on my wrist shot.
Here you can see the details of the dial, including movement number 7S26 and some other codes (I have no idea what they mean !) 2084 R 2... Also all the dial's literature and eventual imperfections of the indexes' paint: ...
I love the purposeful look of this dial. A divers choice in every respect. The lume probably lights up most of the ocean ;-)) Thanks for joining us for WristScan !
I’m over the moon with this shot ;-)) ... It’s definitely a detail that would have me pulling the trigger, I can’t think of a better moon phase. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for joining us at WristScan. Kind regards The Captain
But, what particular individual detail is the highlight for you ? I’m sure that followers of WristScan will be interested in your answer. Kind regards The Captain

Looking at doing a simple Vingt 8 with illusion dial. Once I had finished the tour of the atelier I mentioned that I like a PR on a manual wind....I didnt really know you could ask Kari to do anything. He pulled me to the CAD and the rest is history. Ther...
You certainly know how to make an entry ! .... Stunning detail in the moon and stars and although the hands are not blued they really “pop” against the dial. Thank in you for joining us and I hope to see you posting more great shots on WristScan. Kind reg...
... enclosed in your beautiful watch! Thank you so much for sharing and welcome to our weekly feature ! Looking forward to your participation in future editions of WS as well! Hagwe! Abel
I always enjoy your photos and I’m sure we would all love to hear about the detail that made you reach for the cheque book ( or bitcoin ) LOL. Obviously rarity probably played a part but I think other factors hit the spot for you. Kind regards The Captain...
..including the famous tile shot (on a certain Italian roof). And that moisture indicator and..and.. Great sequence, as expected, my dear friend ! Best
Excellent Brauner. This is a detail that would make me go for this watch. You must be very pleased to own this one. Thanks for joining us this weekend and I have been enjoying your holiday photos this week. Kind regards The Captain
I fell in love with this dial first time I saw it due to its sunburst structure and variety of shades. (the machine behind it is nice as well but the dial did it for me) Picture taken today whilst driving. ...
Friends, just felt to enter 2 items, - one where it‘s several design elements; - and one where there is a watch, for me a very special watch, connected with great friendship, laughter and a very special package of things coming along with the tic-tac whic...

This particular watch I haven’t posted yet; just this one closeup. It’s a double tourbillon 30 degrees and to me it’s like looking into a small city. What separates me from so much money is probably a few bad brain cells but it could be much worse; there ...

You are starting with that magic red writing on the Submariner. It makes all the difference and has become iconic. The red date on the DateJust is a detail that I wish Rolex would reinstate. As for the Speedmasters you know how much I love this model of i...
Agree with you that red date or roulete date is a very charming detail Rolex should return to use. Please note that even the model name Datejust is written in red! That’s a charming detail as well I feel. The red on the Sub makes a Big difference indeed. ...
This watch strikes me as having harmonious design detail. Several elements that could be highlighted but particularly the case. Kind regards The Captain
The theme is spot on. Why a model is yours, it touched you, it grabs you. A watch i do not have, but contains a great detail is a Montblanc mono pusher chronograph. Or the Minerva chronograph movements - the swan neck with the Minerva emblem at the tip. S...
Here is my new toy, the Rolex Airking with the dial inspired by the Bloodhound SSC dashboard clock. Leather jacket - Check. Sunglasses - Check. Hound sitting in the backseat - Check ...
We could talk about the “detail” on this watch for hours .. Superb ! Thank you for sharing this with us on WristScan this weekend. Best wishes The Captain
Your LF certainly has many details that are perfect for our theme this weekend at WristScan. The dial and hands stand out for me but not forgetting the gold rotor. Thanks for joining us this weekend. Best wishes The Captain
Beautiful Rolex that I would be proud to have in my collection. The blue rail on the dial works so well as part of the design detail. Thank you for sharing it with us on WristScan. Kind regards The Captain
I really enjoy wearing this again. One of the reasons why I bought it is the dial and hands combination. The minute track is luminova, while the hands and 12 o’clock triangle is a mix of tritium and luminova. This was found on a few IWC references in the ...
Welcome to WristScan ! Your Tudor BB certainly has an elegant and purposeful design detail in this version. The hands look so good against the dial. Thanks for joining us and I hope that you have a great weekend. Kind regards The Captain

When you first look at the movement, it looks like the base plate is flat. However, this is an optical illusion because the balance wheel is placed perfectly above the edge of the step. You can see this in the picture below, and the step can be clearly se...
There are a lot of little interesting details on these MG watches. The pillar and plate architecture, ARCAP gears, clear sapphires, etc. There's a lot to say about this one despite the fact that it's a simple time only watch!
... discovering so many charming details both in their dials and movements. It is possible to spend hours admiring them and enjoying all those little great details in them. Have a nice week end my dear friend! Best cordial regards, Abel
We are spoilt for choice ! Personally I’m a big fan of the Rolex Milgauss, it’s a great watch with very cool detail. Thanks for joining us ! Kind regards The Captain ...
There's no detail that's not delicious on the dial (can we call it a "dial?") on the Time Pyramid: Likewise, the recto (not) dial on the Chronographe Retrograde (Was there ever a smaller, shaped chrono movement? And if there was, was it open and gilded?):...
That’s a very cool Time Pyramid by Arnold, seldom seen on WristScan. I also love the dial detail on your Four Seasons "Spring". Thanks for joining us this weekend. Kind regards The Captain
We can always rely on you to show us something special and we aren’t disappointed this week ! How long have you had this superb piece ? Kind regards The Captain
