No way around a Speedmaster

I tried it for years. Speedmaster is too broring, I said. Everybody has one, and I'm not everybody, I said. However, sooner or later I realized that if I want a chronograph with perfect legibility, there is barely any alternative to a Speedmaster - but an automatic Speedmaster:
For the three other "must-haves", I would suggest one for sports and traveling, whenever ruggedness and non-conspicousness is important, such as Tudor's Pelagos.
Another one for elegant opportunities, either a true classic, such as the Reverso, or the Bulgari Octo.
And, finally, one with an uncommon complication, just to satisfy the horological curiosity, for example this Habring² with jumping and flashing second:
