After much contemplation over how various criteria should be emphasized and before I go totally nuts (due to so many excellent entries!) I have finally decided on placings and honorable

mentions... then I wadded up those conclusions and did some shuffling.... at least three times! Honestly with a strong passion for horology and photography this is fun but not easy. I try to consider the host's

theme, photographic creativity, risk factors for the watch, composition, image quality, uniqueness of imaging approach while not dwelling on my own watch preferences or who's been chosen before.
I'd like to thank Ted for letting me be a judge and my wife (who share's my interests) for her input. I apologize for using screen grabs as they degrade images in various ways but my analog brain still hasn't figured out
how to pluck and move images and know that by the time I figure that out we could be into next weeks WristScan!
First descriptions of some honorable mentions which are all REALLY excellent! SF for his PAM 249 on a perfectly worn, fuzzy-lovely strap, Captain Scarlet's similar Cali dial Radiomir shot where the watch is so
nicely framed and emphasized by a dangerous looking cactus and his creative kalidescopic shot of straps (how DID you do that?) , Subexplorer's cross hatch of 6 beautiful Panerai, Brandon Skinner's pam 372 with a superbly trained lizard who must be happy the watch is sporting calf (rather than one of his companions), JML's shots of lucent links on his Emma diver, Tim Jackson's Ochs and Junior on sturgeon, HSIII's Polaris,
NT 931's entires and KMII's chicken leg enamel dialed Pressage. Maybe I missed a couple but before next week does arrive..

 1st Place goes to....

Subexplorer’s Submersible . I love how well this strap compliments this watch! Risk factor looks high resting on that abrasive mortar! Wonderful composition and colors throughout!

2nd place goes to SF’s Rolex GMT with a funky-wonky Jubilee bracelet on a perfect Pan Am memorabilia background!

3rd goes to Brandon Skinner’s Leonidas timer piece with a strap that just oozes tons of funky character on complimentary marble. We are certainly seeing ”The Strap" with this image!

Actually I wanted to have at least 3 entries for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as so many were SO darn good.

Congrats to the winners!

Def your piece β€œstuck” with me and continues to stick with me, I am so so happy to see people break from the norm, in this case, I have β€œnever” seen anything like your bezel and strap combination... Super sublime....

I appreciate it so much! Seems to me that my Habring with the blue strap is a true beloved pair here - yesterday I wore it... The strap is a crocodile, aged jeans-look, but real croco from Visconti Milano! If you would like to get a direct contact with th...

My pleasure Adam. Thanks for the info on the strap. Will look into Visconti Milano as I have never purchased a strap from them. Will look at ABP to see if they have something similar...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : October 26th, 2020-08:12
as they already have my specs and could simply make me a bespoke strap once I select the hide. If not, then I will go with Visconti πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ And yes, your Habring combo with the VM strap was a huge hit πŸ‘πŸ”₯

Wow thank you so much dear Holdemchamp1225πŸ€—

 By: Watchonthewrists : October 26th, 2020-02:36
This watch is definitely different but thats also the slogan from Stepan Sarpaneva #Notforeveryone . The bezel is made from Bronze and engraved with a design from Mo Coppoletta. The strap is a Python strap and is so cool imo. I love these kind of watches ...

I've seen you post this watch prior in another post but combined with this green strap just brings it to another level of BADASS...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : October 26th, 2020-08:17
what is that strap made of? Uber cool texture which I am guessing is some sort of fish or reptile due to the scaling πŸ€” The bronze bezel with the engraving along with the subtle green dial and cool PVD case is already a winner. Combine that with this uniqu...

Its a python strap according to SUF

Thanks again for your kind words

Thanks a lot for the mention πŸ‘πŸ»

 By: KMII : October 27th, 2020-09:04
And it is indeed a tweed strap. Have three or four of them in the meantime and they are great fun πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

Hello Holdemchamp! Great job judging! I know it was not an easy task to judge any of the three categories considering the quality and quantity of submissions this week end.

 By: Subexplorer : October 27th, 2020-15:09
We viewed some awesome straps and bracelets with their fantastic watches. Big congrats to all winners and special mentions and I thank you so much for including my Panerai 87 shot among the mentions. Have a nice week ahead! Best! Abel

I'll take the one on the left and
