It's rarely easy to judge Wrist Scan . . .
Jun 12, 2022,20:10 PM
. . . but this week is proving to be almost impossible.
Abel was practically a one-man band, with at least a dozen wrist shots. This one, though . . .
. . . was magical.
Watchonthewrist shared his usual bevy of technically adroit images; his Grönefeld . . .
. . . stood out for the subtlest of complications that happens to be personally compelling. Complexity in the pursuit of chronometry is most appealing.
Weems crafted a technical standout with his Longines GMT . . .
. . . as did jml with his JLC set against a symmetrical background, . . .
. . . while Kristjan's Seiko with layers of depth, . . .
. . . Timeout's deconstructed Breguet . . .
. . . and Cap's Patek annual with Borrani wire wheels in the background . . .
. . . all tickled my fancy. But in the end, the blue ribbon this week goes to Geo.
Peerless style, perfectly captured in a wrist shot.
Hope to see you all next Friday when yours truly will be moderating the session.
Cordially,
Art
