Iconic Bass players but who's best?
Well that's up to each of you! Most of the "GOAT' bass players got mentioned here and a few I hadn't thought of as well. A lot of your preferences depended of course on your perferred genre of music. Jazz was mentioned in passing so how about Ron Carter on bass for example? The list could go on and I think the thread gravitated towards rock n roll because it was speaking to rythm sections, bass and drums. No mention of Roger Waters and GEDDY LEE!? whom is a bass players player.
I enjoyed all the posts and video clips especially the one by Boris's instructior with the video's and the pictures he posted of watches and basses. Great stuff this weekend and thanks Art for another fun thread and opportunity to chime in!
