. . . in the worst possible way but passed as I'd committed to another watch when they were in limited production back in '06. Still kicking myself for missing out then.
There were several opportunities over the succeeding years, but some other priority always came out ahead. RGM, Zenith, GO, and GS all got in the way at one time or another.
And there was one niggling snag: models that were affordable were outside my comfort zone in terms of size. Models that fit my sense of proportionality were either too dear or no longer in production.
When Jocke and Tony posted photos of the compact 99.1M in the fall of '19, I was hooked. Placed an order in November of that year, and received April of last.
So while not quite as long a passage as yours, Boris, sixteen years is still quite a stretch.
