Hmmhh.. Let me see what to chip in to play

๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

Summer sportive impressions..

PAM 1074 Submersible Bronzo/ Titanium backsided, a sportive companion

PP 5172, maybe not a pure sports watch but a sportive character โ€“ PP 5172 Chronograph, (one of my most fav Summer Chronos this year)

A real GADA watch (โ€žGo Anywhere Do Anythingโ€œ) - PP 5167 Aquanaut

Nautilus 5712, even with a reasonable depth rating of 120m; quite ok for an otherwise โ€žoffice sportsโ€œ appeal

Daytona Ref 116500 LN, reminiscent of car racing..

A true every day โ€žbeaterโ€œ, (Cerachrome lunette), robust appeal

PAM 176 Luminor โ€“ for a very relaxed attitude..

The 2 โ€žGoddesses of the Sea ( JLC& LC DSA EU โ€“ left + USโ€“ rt)

2 GMT Masters II: 116710 BLRN, โ€ž Batmanโ€œ (left)  & 126710 BLRO โ€žPepsiโ€œ (rt)

The 19th hole, a must after a roundโ€“ Zenith Cronometro CPโ€“2, PPro edition

Good โ€žTrustworthyโ€œ Milgauss, a cool โ€žnonโ€“Rolexโ€œ Rolex

Deep SEA Alarm, European Version in her natural surroundings

Hope you didnโ€˜t mind the somewhat lengthy dwellings..
HAGWE & Best,

The WS for the 8th of September - โ€˜Sports favoriteโ€™ - is live

By: KMII : September 8th, 2023-11:22
Given that sports watches are the flavor of the decade (and possibly longer) - thanks @Captain for pointing this out - letโ€™s see some of your favorite pieces. Whether the shots involve sports or not very much depends on you. Looking forward to seeing your...

And here some of mine for a start

As I donโ€™t do that much sports seeing action shots would be hard ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I possibly have the only G-Shock on a leather strap to compensate ๐Ÿ˜ ...

The only sports watch in my collection . . .

Funny you mention David Hasselhoff. I sat next to him and his wife at a Stones concert . . .

... more considering the two great Speedmasters (vintage and new 321) in your collection. Speedmaster is an iconic chrono for car racing pilots after all. Enjoy your Ultra Deep and Speedys so much dear Art! Cheers, Abel

I guess Speedies could be considered sports watches in a broader sense . . .

By: Dr No : September 11th, 2023-00:05
. . . but they're more akin to tool watches in my perspective, Abel. That's why I left them out. In the distant past there was an Overseas . . . . . . in my collection. I would consider that to be a sports watch. Best, Art ...

Forgot about this one! . . .

Thatยดs a beautiful gift dear Art. Very nice! It has the added value of being a present from a good friend. That makes it priceless.

By: Cpt Scarlet : September 9th, 2023-23:22
Indeed, this really is a phenomenon of our time. From memory, it all started on the late 80โ€™s and early 90โ€™s. Suddenly people started wearing more sports watches as apposed to dress watches as a daily routine. My Doxa photo is with some of my Scubapro equ...

Thank you so much for your kind answer dear Captain. Interesting what you mention as though I have noticed the trend towards the wearing of sports watches I had no idea of when it started.

By: Subexplorer : September 10th, 2023-13:20
Thank you for your clarification about the Doxa photograph. Scubapro makes top quality equipment. Here in my Country it was the brand of choice of our Navy divers since the late 1960's. Have a nice Sunday my dear friend. Abel

Scubapro make great quality products โ€ฆ

Some real classics and heavyweights you show this weekend ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Btw. is that a steering wheel behind the Doxa?

Thank you ๐Ÿ™โ€ฆ

By: Cpt Scarlet : September 10th, 2023-10:27
The Doxa photo is with some of my Scubapro diving equipment. A sporting shot for you, with a steering wheel in the background and the 321 Speedmaster. Best regards Captain ...

Ah, wonderful!

The Alpine Eagle HF is a sublime piece - what color dial version is it? And lovely to see the Ebel - an iconic piece ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Very cool indeed!

By: KMII : September 10th, 2023-15:44
The HF is a piece I am pretty interested in (just need to find a strap maker that will allow me to replace the bracelet ๐Ÿ˜‰) ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

I believe thatโ€ฆ

Cheers jml

By: KURT_DAVID : September 11th, 2023-09:21
It was was actually a bit of fun aimed at my fellow rowers as they all have fancy fitness/heart monitoring smart watches and theyโ€™re constantly checking on the go. Iโ€™m the only one without one. Have a great week.

Good move!

By: KMII : September 12th, 2023-04:29
I also refuse to wear one of the constant monitoring devices ๐Ÿ˜

Great theme KMII

I love the flexibility of the concept of a sports watch , and that there arenโ€™t very strict criteria on what qualifies ( unlike say a dress watch ) . From divers to chronos to various colourful or just funky pieces , ( just about ! ) anything goes ๐Ÿ˜„ Hereโ€™...
