Here my simple no complication watches shared in the opening Poster…
Nov 25, 2022,14:25 PM
Starting at left and clockwise:
Longines Calatrava style steel 36 mm case ref 4914-32 from 1956 movement 12.68 Z
Omega Chronometer ref 2367-8 from 1946. Legendary movement 30-T2 happily ticking inside.
Universal Geneve first series of 1954 marked Polarouter (later changed to Polerouter) ref 10234. Interesting marking of retailer Freccero a famous Jewelry shop in Montevideo, Uruguay also selling brands like Patek and so marked on dials.
Panerai Radiomir Pam 210. 45 mm case. Just hours and minutes. No seconds. One of my most uncomplicated watches! Lol!
Omega Jumbo ref 2505-31 from 1948 (birth year) big 38 mm case was truly big for the epoch. This type is presently known among collectors as “Jatuka” model after the nick name of a famous Italian watch dealer who considers it his “lucky watch” and wears one almost every day.
Centerpiece is our well known CK 859 Omega.
Described by our Captain Scarlet with exact words: simplicity with style.
Very popular in our Community it was announced early this year 2023 and unexpectedly quickly phased out from production after just a few months of production.
A wonderfully finished hand wound movement inside completes the package of this beautiful and simple timepiece.
Will be posting additional photos of each piece later
Hagwe!
