Hello friends!! Appologize for my delay in posting my veredict for Static Category. Seems like currents didn´t help to take my bottle away from the beach! Anyway, here they are:

A very special mention to SF and his wonderful shot of his orange dial Doxa inmersed in the shallows. Loved this shot!

A second special mention for Giles/Nomadgiles for his wonderful set of travel shots of his trusty Zodiac Aerospace GMT which I´m sure was a faithful companion on his wrist in many travels. I specially liked this shot:

And the winner of this week end Island Adventure is:

Nicolas/Amanico and his stunning shot of his wonderful vintage JLC DSA resting on shells bed. Perfect color balance and lightning makes for this winning shot I felt

Congratulation to winners and special mentions in all categories and to all participants thanking for their awesome submissions making so enjoyable this edition of our classic week end contest.

Special thanks for Brauner for choosing this most interesting Theme and hosting W/S so nicely along this week end.

Have a nice week ahead Friends!!
Abel

It’s been while since I’ve been choose in this duty. A lot of good contenders this week. I was expected to see much more Rolex just as I did. I think Rolex ticked all the boxes but being on an island doesn’t mean one lost the sense of beauty and duty and ...

You're absolutely right. Good choice.

Onestly, i am the oposite of a purist. But next year i must have a strong watch. Which can resist beach sand and waterpresure. I want an Omega or Ulysse Nardin, and as a tool watch i think a seamaster is the watch for my adventures. An Ulysse Nardin is mo...
