... Very interesting the chrono from a friend´s project. The movement is very tough and reliable and the design very classic.
The Russian watches are so charming. I had been thinking in assembling a little collection of them though not easy to find them in my Country. I specially love the Big Zero model, and those connected with the Russian Space Exploration (e.g. Sturmanskie).
I´m sure all watches shown are a delight to own and wear. Thanks a lot for sharing with us!
Have a nice week end my dear friend! Abel

I had the earlier version, liked it and looked around for the beefier alternative model, but couldn't find any. Other than the lume falling out of the hands, it was fine. I got mine used in 2008, and sold it about 2012. This is the one I was looking for -...

So here is my humble entry: issued by and purchased brand new from Vulcain in 2017. This is a limited edition run of 30 watches in sterling silver - so it regularly tarnishes! It is a direct ancestor of the first Vulcain cricket from 1947 and the cases (2...

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely watch Penfriend!

The Braun AW10 was born out of the disgust that Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs had for the promotional watches that Braun was handing out to clients. Launched in 1989, this modest 34mm watch is still a design classic. HAGWE! ...

Thank you, Abel...

Coincidentally, I happened to be wearing one of the humbler, if not . . .

. . . humblest, Omegas in my collection before viewing your theme thread, Abel. Ca '53 Ω ref 2667 . . . . . . powered by the obscure cal 420 movement. It's the sort of watch that's not on anyone's radar . . . there's nothing to interest an avid collector ...

Many guys wouldn't give it a second look, Nicolas. Too tiny . . .

A watch with character 👌🏻
