... musical recollections to answer your cool Theme.
In the 1960’s and 70’s here in my Country we were very fond of Gene Krupa who played with Benny Goodman before assembling his own band. Krupa has a lot of followers among our local musicians among them the late Tito Alberti considered our best local drummer ever.

I still like to listen Krupa among other Jazz favorites. I’m sure you are familiar with some of his famous themes: Sing Sing Sing and Drum Boogie and of course Down Argentine Way which you shared some time ago in a video.
I’m also fan of the Dave Brubeck Quartet of Take Five fame. Drummer was Joe Morello and Eugene Wright bass. Paul Desmond author of the theme and saxophonist.
Of course as a big fan of The Beatles I can’t forget to name Ringo Starr whom I feel is not duly recognized as he deserves.
Now the watches I’ll be wearing this weekend while listening music and following our participants posts answering your Theme:
My ref 6609 from 1956 Turn-O-Graph “Thunderbird” gold case.
My 38 mm Tribute to A386 from 1969 by Zenith
Have a beautiful weekend my dear Art and all our friends here!!
Best cordial regards
Abel
