. . . any genre works. One of my favorite bassists, David Wheat, was an upright player who performed with both The Kingston Trio and Chet Baker. Kingston quartet? Jazz, folk, country - all's good in this neighborhood!

Irving Cottler was a great drummer and played with Frank Sinatra for most of his career. He also played for Nat King Cole amongst others.
