Ahhh Hans! That Ranchero!! ;) Wonderful watch. You know I love so much. Yes, I see you like simplicity in watches just by viewing your collection here.

Nice shots with your children as background. Watching them play and enjoy their activities and share our time with them is also a simple but so rewarding thing to do.
Thank you so much for your entry! Hagwe. Abel

Hello friends! Our Theme this weekend is “Keep it Simple” and it is Open Now!!

 By: Subexplorer : November 25th, 2022-13:26
Hello! I have the pleasure of hosting this weekend. As I previously announced our Theme is: “Keep it Simple!!” and I’m asking our participants to share with us their time only watches. No complications this weekend. Just watches displaying hours, minutes ...

Simplicity with style …

 By: Cpt Scarlet : November 25th, 2022-13:45
Hello dear Abel and friends ! Starting with the watch I have on my wrist today .. Back later ! Best regards Captain ...

"Simplicty with style" is an exact description of this wonderful CK 859. I feel it is now "a community watch" here as it is owned by several of our members (me included).

 By: Subexplorer : November 25th, 2022-13:53
I´m expecting many entries including this superb offering from Omega introduced early this year and phased out of production so quickly as surprisingly. Thank you for sharing dear Captain! Best, Abel

Simply magical ;-)) …

While I love base 44 mm Luminors, Radiomirs especially 232 are fantastic choice for perfect KIS watch.

among my collection, my 60-year-old vintage Rolex 1024 won as the simplest. I was debating about posting my blue-dial Bulgari Octo Finissimo, which is definitely simplicity with style looking very stylish. I chose the Rolex, though, because it is so simpl...

Hello dear Ron! Your 1024 Rolex fills the Theme at perfection! Beautiful, elegant, simple classic dial, no date complication, just hour, minutes and seconds. Lovely watch. Great choice!

 By: Subexplorer : November 25th, 2022-14:46
Guess your Octo Finissimo also deserves to be shared if you wish. It also ticks all boxes in high style and you may share with us more than one watch if you wish. Thanks a lot for your entry. Hagwe! Abel

What a dial!

Really struggling to find a few time onlys.

 By: Timeout : November 25th, 2022-14:21
I didn’t realize how many I had with a date window! Here’s what I found. Forgot that the Streamliner was a time only until I went through them. Had a few that almost made the cut - but one had a power reserve indicator and while a tourbillon isn’t strictl...

Stunning array of KIS timepieces you share here Timeout!! The awesome Piaget fills the Theme perfectly. I understand you: I found many of my simple watches had a date complication and ...

 By: Subexplorer : November 25th, 2022-14:54
... I preferred to discard them from the choices. Also those with a power reserve indicator. Regret to say I don´t own a tourbillon but agree too that its presence could raise the question about if it is or not a "complicated" timepiece. Lol!! I´m special...

Many thanks Abel.

 By: Timeout : November 25th, 2022-21:30
The Piaget doesn’t get many outings but it’s a cool watch for sure. Similarly the Vacheron is struggling to get out lately. The Moser and Panerai are both real beauties in the sunshine as you can see. Great theme this week - made me stop and think! ...

That Moser 👌🏻🤩

 By: Watchonthewrists : November 25th, 2022-17:58

Many thanks.

 By: Timeout : November 25th, 2022-21:34
I lusted after this dial - and struggled to get it since it was released pretty much in the middle of the COVID pandemic. Still not available from Moser for the time being. I must say that the Vantablack Tourbillon is stunning too - same size as this one....

The green Moser is unfortunately discontinued

 By: Watchonthewrists : November 25th, 2022-23:05
I have been trying to get one but no luck so far . I just need to enjoy pics like the one your showing. Was lucky to play with the Vantablack Tourbillon from. The CEO during GWDs. Very very impressive i must say

It was my understanding that they weren’t discontinuing this model.

 By: Timeout : November 26th, 2022-00:45
The issue was that they had so many orders that production for the next two years was already spoken for so they have stopped taking orders (this was based on discussion with Edouard Meylan and Nicholas Hoffman). The website lists it as “unavailable”. Mos...

They told me during last GWDs that this one is discontinued and a new model will replace it . Don’t have any further details .

 By: Watchonthewrists : November 26th, 2022-07:51
We just have to wait and see and hope it will be just as amazing as yours

Some great choices 🙂

Many thanks!

 By: Timeout : November 26th, 2022-00:46

I can guess why😂. I don’t have quite the strap collection that you have!

 By: Timeout : November 26th, 2022-00:48
But I do swap out with my Cornes De Vache is SS - the stainless and white gold buckles are indistinguishable!

Many thanks.

 By: Timeout : November 26th, 2022-12:14
Yes - it’s the white gold Traditionelle small seconds - a simple beautiful watch!

Ah, that's what I thought. Thank you.

 By: Ruffian : November 26th, 2022-15:12
I was enamoured by the patrimony traditionelle in platinum once, but the stars never aligned for that one.

The Patrimony Traditionelle is one of my favourites! Love yours!

I have the grey version too and it is a classic dress watch. Perfectly sized at 38mm, sexy cal 4400, and very understated and classy.

Those time-only jumbo vintage watches are superb!

The Omega 2505,and particularly the Longines 4914, where the case is curvaceous yet assertive. One of my favourite vintage Longines references!

There is something about time only watches that makes them shine!

 By: KCLQMULKU : November 25th, 2022-22:18
Though your VC is certainly very grand, looking at this part of your collection it is easy to notice just how different, unique, and beautiful they all are. Each standing tall in their own light.

I think so. Cheers!

Probably Italians are unique in having an special word for this concept and attitude with "sprezzatura” isn´t it? Gianni Agnelli and many Italian cinema actors come to my mind as example of this word. In any case you are a good example with you fine taste...

Many thanks for your kind words my friend, "sprezzatura" (though probably a term more used in English than in Italian :-) is indeed a good word here! Not sure about myself, but definitely many Italians are known for a natural, good sense of style! :-))

 By: FabR : November 25th, 2022-21:22

Except that we had of course a few 5124 dials and metal colors, I honestly don't recall anything relevant re differences in production (but I can go back and see if I have something more, as I bought mine as one of my first Pateks, in May 2010 :-)

 By: FabR : November 25th, 2022-22:36
An interesting thing in my view was definitely the beautiful shape movement, unlike earlier Gondolo iterations with round movements (which you'll easily identify by the closed case back ;-) Cheers. ...

Such a sweet treasure especially with the salmon dial!

Luckily no AD in my town

Hello dear KCLQMULKU! Absolutely agree with you. Though it is very interesting and fun to enjoy watches with complications what we really need in a daily wearing watch is just to know the time...

... from a two or three hands watch. The CK 859 is very popular among members of our Community. An unexpected and beautiful offering from Omega this year. It´s a shame they discontinued it so fast. Keep enjoying your so much! Hagwe! Abel

Your BB picture is incredible and also love these vintage Reverso! They have so much character!

Thank you so much for your kind compliments on my shots dear Yacomino! The BB shot was a lucky one taken with the light coming from an airplane window.

 By: Subexplorer : November 26th, 2022-12:59
Glad you like the Reversos shown. Actually they are modern tributes to the Model of 1931 offered a few years ago but they faithfully keep the character of the originals. Enjoy your weekend my dear friend. Abel

Delighted by the theme - a favourite - and by so many delectable watches already posted. This one returned to the bank vault last week; such a great watch, but so much of the pleasure of ownership is evaporating: it is a victim of its own popularity. Chee...

Thank you for your entry dear pplater! I´m so glad to know you like the theme and it´s a pleasure to view the wonderful KIS timepiece which you choose to answer our theme.

 By: Subexplorer : November 26th, 2022-13:08
I feel that the pleasure of owning and wearing our watches is sometimes jeopardized by present security conditions in our respective home places judging from the news coming from several parts of the world were it was safe to wear well known brand watches...

This is truly a very very special timepiece!

Thank you of sharing and do hope you post more photos in the future!

=D The wave pattern of dial is too broad. Would prefer it if it were finer.

I love time-only watches, Vintage or Modern

 By: NT931 : November 26th, 2022-07:30
Vintage offers a wide palette of Time Only choices, which can be from the "Big 3" of PP AP & VC Or from relatively more obscure vintage brands. Modern time-only Indies also provide much enjoyment. A Holthinrichs Raw Ornament is a delight on the wrist... w...

Thank you very much! I love time-only watches especially manual-winding

 By: NT931 : November 26th, 2022-14:49
In fact, 2/3 of the collection comprises time-only watches at this time, the majority (~85%) of which are manual-winding. There is a pleasing simplicity to time-only watches.

Hello NT931! Thank you so much for your answer to our theme here. You share an awesome selection of KIS watches here, both vintage and modern made.

 By: Subexplorer : November 26th, 2022-13:29

That Habring2 Erwin Scientific is a lovely and rare one - I think there were only 10 or 12 made at most by Martin Pulli and Habring2

 By: NT931 : November 26th, 2022-13:37
I used to have one, foolishly sold it, regretted it, and fortunately made up for it by getting the Habring2 TZ21 also with the same jumping seconds complication. Habring2 makes fantastic watches for the money! And they're such a lovely couple.

Hello dear friend HS!! I´m happy to receive your entry this weekend. Of course I like them all! You know we share the owning of many watches. We are horological twins! Lol.

 By: Subexplorer : November 26th, 2022-13:41
As a matter of fact I own all the watches you share today except for the Habring. Regret it is impossible to find it here in my hunting grounds, but I would be happy to get one some day during my travels. All your choices fill the KIS concept and I´m glad...

Thx my dear friend for your as always kind comments !.. Further to that, maybe see my other comment + pics below..
