I'm going to goof off all day since the office is closed in observance of Independence Day in the US. Here's what I'll be wearing this Friday... Happy 4th of July on Saturday to the Americans amongst us! HAGWE! Daos This message has been edited by dxboon ...
This is a very new addition to my collection PAM 233, but its unusual and I do like to wind my watches, even if its every 8 days cheers benio, and a happy 4th from Australia Paneerai PAM 233...
PAM 36? Tobacco dials are my favorite! It goes perfectly with your strap choice. Sometimes, I think I need to buy a Panerai just so I can accessorize it with straps. I suppose that's not surprising, as women are notorious when it comes to collecting acces...
In a very bad era for us... Back to the watch, yes, this is the infamous Pam 36, the only Titanium / Brown Dial / Tritium indexes. A Cult watch for every Panerai Lover... And proud to still own it. Yes, playing with straps on Pannies is great but I guess ...
...with the good Dr Ting (hopefully) and the rest of you former colonials who ruined shiploads of perfectly good tea, the evening will be spent disporting stars, stripes, red, white, blue and - errrr - gold. You have your independence (congratulations) - ...
Nicolas, i believe they still have some from the last issue, but if not there will be another release in March/april. if you change straps as i expect you will, go for a 22/22 as you can use the original buckle on the new strap. while the tennis is on i m...
Surprisingly, you have a wide choice of straps which work on this watch. Still, I think that a simple strap, as the first you posted, works better on this watch, as to enhance its very strong personality, IMO.... Best, my lucky friend. Nicolas
Geo, if this comment was directed at me then i feel honoured in view the incredible collection you have yourself. if it wasnt then i feel honoured on behalf of the person it was directed at :) best Graham
year, as it was on my wrist for the past two years on the 4th. I took this celebration literally this year A Trio of independence, The Gerber today, the VH tomorrow, and the TP for Sunday. Hope all is well, Mike...
Hi Everyone... I will be wearing my Longines this weekend , I added a vintage style mesh band, ends are spring loaded from 17.5 mm to 22 mm, the band is 17.5. For the summer it is very comfortable as opposed to the OEM band. But getting back to the photo....
You've captured the beauty of the blued hands very nicely. What a skyline. If this were the view from my office I don't think I'd be quite as productive! Cheers, Daos
There is always someone to remind me this one... Strange! With the Nato, the Combo is perfect, IMO. The only problem of this watch is that, while the case looks bigger and thicker, the size of the bracelet didn't move, which looks strange, but with the Na...
Nice Seiko mark. i like the daye positioning, a bit like the 60's model whose name i forget. Seiko are a bit of a stealth brand. most 'people' view them as cheap, but they are virtually unbreakable and for a teenager or someone with a manual job its one o...
I bought it about two years ago. It's the coolest thing.. All days of the week are black, but SATURDAY is blue and SUNDAY is red. How awesome is that ?! Okay -- perhaps I am easily entertained Regards Mark
I tend to wear my Seiko 5 on the weekend so I can experience seeing the Sunday display in red (the rest of the week is in black font). It's the little things! Cheers, Daos
The Longines is looking good! I'm channeling Ralph Waldo Emerson this morning: By the rude bridge, that arched the flood, Their flag to April's breeze unfurled, Here once the embattled farmers stood, And fired the shot, heard 'round the world. (Or somethi...
I see you are sporting your trusty pink, I mean, salmon Datejust. Check out the VC forum. Bill posted some good pix of the VC Patrimony Contemporaine. I was hoping you might be able to share new pix of your VC. I found one of the old photos to share with ...

. . . and an Omega AT Teck annual calendar on my wrist . . . . . . all set for a day of hangin' out with some of my fellow watch aficionados . . . cordially, Art...
. . . but I'll share one tidbit now: the end-of-month change from June 30th to July 1st took place in the space of time between focusing on the watch and pushing the start button - I missed the changeover by a second! Cordially, Art

This is my favorite post this week, and certainly in the running for my favorite post of '09! Where to start? First, I love the photo you took of the crystal on your Bunde FF! The crystal is one of the BEST aspects of the watch. So sexy. Although, Nicolas...
