Wristscan of the Week

Nov 10, 2019,09:33 AM

This week's judging was extremely difficult. In fact, I have as many honorable mentions as winners. For me, the photo had to say 'refreshing' from the get go to gain my attention. So here are the numerous honorable mentions:

Fabr for his Datejust & White Negroni

Tyo for his Rolex Milgauss & Birra Moretti

SF for his Rolex GMT and sake

Halkcb for his Grand Seiko & Bombay Sapphire Gin

Now for the winning pairings...

In 4th place, Bill with his Panerai Luminor & white wine made me long for summer on the shore

In 3rd and 2nd place respectively, SubExplorer & JML_Watches came in with some heavy hitters; in particular SubExplorer's Seiko in a blast of champagne but also his well balanced still life, 'Panerai Radiomir & Pina Colada'. JML mesmerized me with the harmonious tones of his 'Seiko and a Beer' but the charm of his Omega Memomatic & Raspberry Beer are undeniable.

However, there must always be a winner. The Wristscan of the Week must go to IMHO to Nomadgiles and his G-P Gyromatic with gin & tonic. The photo is refreshing both horologically with its winderful vintage G-P and its harmonious monochromatic hues.

Congratulations to everyone who participated. For someone who spends their life judging the work of others as a professor, it was a stellar class this week!

WristScan gives us the opportunity each week to get creative with our passion for watches. I hope that my photos inspire others to join our community and post. Have a great week ahead friends.

Well played Judge Jurry!! I can well understand it was not an easy task with so many wonderful static shots. But the Captain´s shot of his Moonshine surely is a winner...
