My simple three watches this week Noticed the battery was down and had it replaced...very enjoyable still giving wrist time to the 'King'...a relative recent acquisition with interesting brown tones on the dial Revisiting an old tortue enamel dial...love ...
Beautiful trio indeed, Henry!
By: KMII : June 26th, 2022-04:49
Hard for me to pick a favorite here 😊 Your no Date KS reissue certainly looks wonderful, the Spaceview I find one of the more interesting vintage pieces and the torture has one of my favorite watch shapes 😊👍🏻
Gosh, Abel - your rotation schedule is much faster . . .

The magnificent seven 👌🏻👍🏻

Your selection over the week really shows the breadth of our hobby, from vintage to modern, low cost yet interesting to the higher ranges, dressy to sporty. Your collection really is quite something 👍🏻👌🏻 And great strap choices, too 😊🙌🏻 ...
Wow ! …
By: Cpt Scarlet : June 26th, 2022-09:15
Hello dear Abel ! Interesting to see your splendid choices for the week. The new watch box from your children is a very special gift and a happy memory each time you open it. The Moon DNA strap on your Speedmaster looks very cool. Best regards Captain
Hi dear Abel, best to you and hagwe 🍻

I’ve been rediscovering my Luminor 24h GMT the past week and its domed, bottomless dial…. (Driveway decorations c/o my daughter) ...
Thank you so kindly, Abel, re my daughter and watch 🍻
By: Stoikos : June 24th, 2022-13:36
I love the 1088! 24h GMT is a terrific complication. Glad you like the straps! The tan “74 series” and the blue straps are by Gunny Straps Official. The Flottiglia Mas Xa painted strap is by Aaron Bespoke.
Before I forget !.. truly love your PAM 1088 !!
By: hs111 : June 26th, 2022-10:25
Quite eclectic but with lots of character, which is nicely reflected by your shots ! In fact, AFAIK this is the first time I see this Ref. - Could you pls mention the production or/and acquisition year(s) of this Luminor GMT ?! - And BTW, what is the Powe...

By: Cpt Scarlet : June 26th, 2022-09:42
I especially like your Flottiglia Mas Xa painted strap by Aaron Bespoke. Well played !
These are the watches for the past week.

Started with my Breitling 1959 Navitimer I swapped out the black calf strap that came with the watch for this minimal stitched Maya Calf strap from Genteel Handmade. Later in the week I moved on to my JLC Duometre Chronograph. The strap is Caramel calfski...
What a week in watches 😊
By: KMII : June 26th, 2022-04:53
Starting with complications and going to time only - great choices all and nice strap pairings for the season 👌🏻👍🏻
Many thanks.
By: Timeout : June 26th, 2022-14:59
Until you brought it to my attention I hadn’t noticed the progression from complications to time only! The Breitling and JLC are both chronographs - but quite different takes on the complication. I’m really enjoying the Duometre with the new strap which l...
Good choices …
By: Cpt Scarlet : June 26th, 2022-09:44
Your Breitling 1959 Navitimer looks very good.
Thanks Captain.
By: Timeout : June 26th, 2022-15:03
This 1959 is the only Breitling I own. I really liked the back story to its reissue a couple of years ago and the way that Breitling is going to it’s back catalogue in a thoughtful way.
Dear Abel, that's a busy wrist week !!
By: S F : June 24th, 2022-14:27
This Breitling Premier has been with me the past week. From the 1940's, 36mm in rose gold and a gold dial. Other than a few dings on the case, amazing original condition. Have a good weekend! ...
Thks Abel…
By: S F : June 25th, 2022-04:36
I was chasing a fatlady 😍but someone told her hand 🤬. It is fine, the Breitling and a Gruen fell in my lap this time😜. Not complaining, will continue my pursuit for my fatlady!😂
What a beauty 👌🏻
By: KMII : June 26th, 2022-04:56
One thing about vintage chronographs I also thoroughly enjoy is the better match between movement and case sizes. My Minerva 13-20, even if much newer would be of a similar vein. ...
Dear KM, thats a sharp looking Minerva!
By: S F : June 26th, 2022-09:43
And the stingray strap goes well with the color of the dial and your shirt 🥂. Agreed with you on the case size, the thickness too, dress shirt friendly proportion.
Hmmhh.. Let me see of how to play..

Polaris Geographic - really makes me dream of distant places PP Aquanaut 5167 has become one of my most worn - a real „universal“ watch, which is a chic „workhorse“.. JLC „The Shark“ Ref 2643, World Timer Chrono Has a bewithching charm for me.. Well, you ...
Charming pieces all, HS!

That Porthole Futurematic is future-matic even today - love that! And it seems world times were strong this week, summer holiday planning in progress? 😊
Thx for the kind comment, dear K !
By: hs111 : June 26th, 2022-10:13
And indeed, this E 502 Porthole is a somewhat eclectic piece, but with lots of cool charm, IMHO. Guess, needs even a bit more wrist-time, maybe.. . As per the summer vacations, it’s still some weeks, until our yearly Southern country-part will be enjoyed....
I like all of your choices …
By: Cpt Scarlet : June 26th, 2022-09:48
And I completely agree with you about the Aquanaut 5167. It’s so easy to enjoy. Best regards Captain
Kind thx for your nice words !.. And Yes,..
By: hs111 : June 26th, 2022-10:56
.. my PP Aquanaut more and more gets to my most-worn choices - It’s chic, unibtrusive, but cool & versatile. For me this 5167 meanwhile is one of my most appreciated choices ( although there are still „tons of“ other compelling PP pieces.. 😉🙂 And have a g...

Can offer virtually anything 👍
Torsti is open to diacussions
By: NT931 : June 27th, 2022-01:06
There are many many options, and there's the option of getting a spare dial as well to swap (something I seriously considered)
Thank you dear friends!
By: NT931 : June 25th, 2022-01:47
And for those considering or awaiting the Laine V38, you will not regret it at all! The watch is a joy to wear - fits well on the wrist, and is a visual pleasure from front and back, and excellent value. Plus Torsti is a very nice chap to work with.

An Omega Souveran from 1944. On Tuesday, it was: Heuer Autavia 2446, 1967. On Wednesday, it was a Nivada chronograph with a Valjoux 72 from the 1950s: On Thursday, a Heuer Carrera 2447 NST from 1969: And on Friday (yesterday), the Omega again: I tend to c...

By: KMII : June 26th, 2022-05:12
Unless that was a curve ball, the Tuxedo probably got the most wrist time 😉 Great pieces and the strap choices are spot on - the Forrest green on your 1815 Up / Down is epic 👍🏻👌🏻

Beautiful Overseas!

The dial texture on the Himalaya is quite something, too 🙌🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Absolutely.
By: mrds : June 26th, 2022-11:10
That’s the main attraction of the Everest version. It brings out the casual, funky side of the Overseas while still retaining the refined build quality. VC has done a pretty perfect job with this one!
Brilliant Overseas!
