Thank you so much dear Jurry for your kind comments. Nice to know that my DD year coincide with your Birthdate! Agree with you that this watch has a very strong presence on the wrist.
I´m not very fond of wearing full gold watches and as a matter of fact it is not safe to wear them here in my Country. I am also a very plain person and I´m not fond of bling bling.
Not being fond of wearing gold watches doesn´t mean I don´t like them. Some full gold watches are superb pieces of horology and I love them so much as to have them in my collection, like this DD, my Moonshine Speedy, or my full gold Submariner and a few others.
I imagined that going to Tony's party I would make this DD a bit more under the radar with a black croco straps set. Sometimes I wear another gold DD I own with leather straps and it looks sporty and much less bling bling.
Of course I agree with you that the DD was made for its President bracelet and I like it so much this way.
