For what it has to offer, the BB58 is one of the clearest "No Brainer" out there. I also much prefer this blue version over the black / gilt one. If I hadn't had a Sinn U50 on order, I would surely have picked one. The only thing I don't like is the hype ... 

Hard to go wrong with an Explorer...

The Explorer versatility is its great strength. And the 14270 / 114270 gets it exactly right. Modern construction + classic size + restrained design=winner. I had the 214270 for a while, but although it has obvious technical upgrades vs. the previous gene...
