True, gone fishing for the first time in many years and that made a timely start a bit of a challenge. We caught over 40 kg of fish in total 😱

I love a good fishing trip.

Since I have never done this as an adult before. All very close to the city so maybe not the full experience but it was good overall.

Went to my backyard to take some pictures. Was a breath of fresh air, with nice floral perfume in the air. Strelitzia reginae “mandela’s gold” Magnolia X loebneri merill ...  

Was the one you mentioned in the earlier post ‘ready’, too?

Yes, the golden blooms are from the Strelitzia reginae. The normal form has orange petals, but there is a strange variant with yellow petals.

Apart from the fact that they look very pretty 😊

Strelitzia is one of my true loves of the floral kingdown. When I was a 10 year old boy, we used to go on a 8 hour bus journey to the highlands of Malaysia, to escape the sweltering heat of Singapore. They would grow these strelitzias so well in the highl...

The MIH shot is one of the most beautiful shots taken. Wow, swiss “cottage industry” watch juxtaposed with the cottage.

Thouhg not easy to choose just one shot or watch I see here some watches which make my heart pound loudly: e.g. your classic Jaeger/Valjoux chrono, a lovely JLC triple data, and the Polaris and DSA both USA and EU versions. How not to love them? Thank you...
