It offers actually ALL shades, depending on the ligt: outdoors a very light RG, more like light champagne. Indoors a clear YG. BUT the FREAKY ( here it fits to the theme ) thing is that it always tries to escape to WG, just for a glance, a milli second. H...

Once strapped to the wrist, the watch is quite comfortable to wear. Its light weight contributes to this in a substantial way. I also found it easy to read. Finally, it almost fit under my (fairly large) shirt cuff! All in all much better than it's size a...

That's very interesting, Livius. I have not seen one before and it is in great condition (helped by the PVD coating I guess). Can it still be set by the atomic clock signal, or have things changed over the intervening years? Andrew

The Junghans Mega 1 is only receiving signals from the transmitter in Germany, (Frankfurt am Main), at 77.5 khz, and can only be used in Europe. Outside of Europe, it can be used as a regular quartz. Livius This message has been edited by deBalzac on 2010...
