Not sure I have seen this dial version of the PC before 🙌🏻👌🏻👏🏻

I like that the small second is off-centered which is unusual and on a square sub-dial (it matches the main square dial). I like that the dial is guilloché (guilloché-ed inenglish? ). I like the very useful 8-day power reserve with its special "porthole" ...

I must admit that the pure, simple, classic design was the reason I chose the not so popular white dial... Your black dial is just stellar, maybe somewhere down the road you might add the white as well;-))) Have a great weekend!

Definitely this is my favorite dial. Lange Datograph Perpetual. Wait a minute... did I get the dial and movement mixed up ? Another favorite dial. JLC Polaris Date. Ah this I get right. This is the dial ! Blue Shippo enamel. Superb dial for the price poin...  

The right wrist, left ankle and right ankle share the load from the primary left wrist :p

I had a chance to attend a complications event with AP and was intrigued by some of the more traditional novelties in the Royal Oak variety, including many of which have been launched very recently. In parallel, we got an introduction to the CODE line, an...

So called "Lapis" dial, but for me it looks like sky with stars😍 Tank Must de Cartier, Late 70's, mechanical caliber. ...  

Perfectly executed on this Cartier and even looks good with the script and logo on the dial.

yes, I took a "flyer" on Aleksandr's work and jumped in. Initially it was going to be a blue dial, with polished steel hands, but the blue color he came up had too much purple in it for my taste. As I had seen the raw brass dial prior to coloring, I asked...

The more I think of it, it may well be my favourite Rolex dial of all time. Many will likely not agree, but I am deeply partial to the frosted texture and find it a wonderful way to showcase the unique properties of platinum in a restrained manner.

This piece I have grown to like a lot, as it slips under the radar and no one knows what it is. Sometimes I lament that it’s movement finishing reminds me of the back of a CD.

Definitely qualifies for dials that take centre stage in the design of these excellent watches. Was this your first Seiko ?

I didn’t intend to buy it at first, but somehow the boutique in Sydney brought this US exclusive for a trunk show, and left it behind to sell, and I got the chance to get it. It was almost an instantaneous decision due to the unusual hue of the dial, and ...

When I met Kari I explained that I would actually like a PR on the watch as it's a manual wind. He then had a picture on the CAD of one he was designing for another client and I said that's what I want. It added another CHF 8000 to the bill. The guilloche...
