Hmmhh.. So let me see, how to play, today..

These examples are not about the rarest, and/or most expensive pieces,
but tic-tacs I had been longing and looking for quite some time..
Thus, these ones fit into my “collection” due to one reason or another,
made me happy, when to find them and still do, up to date..
Had been looking for a good 6542, for quite some time; with a well preserved bakelite. Absolutely
love its presence & appeal
My first JLC calendar, still full of balance and class, IMHO
A perfect coincidence, finding this very well preserved dual counter Type XX ( civilian),
including a full set, (with the original box & even the Breguet shopping bag)
Even documents here included to highlight the time when this watch was first presented ( as a present from one
brother to the elder one, (on Xmas 1978) ,as evidenced by an original photo ). Alltogether a piece with its “retour-en-vol” a
conceptually real tool for flying
I had first the RG version, ( initially as my first & only gold but took me 4 yrs to find the ss match to it to make the pair.
Please find here the pair of RG + ss Geomatic chronometers.
Watches to dress up or down, either way to appreciate.
Have a nice residual Sunday and a good upcoming week..
Best, hs
PS: Thank you Moritz for your hosting of this stimulating topic !
