yes, indeed, i am getting to love it more and more. although this watch is almost 40 years old, it is still running very strong and accurate, amazing indeed! i have opened the caseback, the movement still shows very shinny. cal.861 is printed on the edge ...

i look forward to seeing it in 4 weeks time. with regard to your question on 'professional' or not it is a bit complicated. the Moonwatch which is handwind has professional on the dial from 1963/64 so very early speedmasters dont have it, but any more mod...

a speedy pro would make a perfect sports chrono for you. not too big, not too small, long history etc etc etc. need i say more. you could also go for the reduced auto model at 38mm. not a moonwatch, but a speedy nonetheless. best Graham
