i notice that the table has a imperial graduated dial for the table-i assume that you will be making the watch plates and bridges and wheels and pinions from plans.
will this mean that you use imperial measurement plans or are they metric -maybe getting a dual reading dial could also benefit and make accurate cuts easier to obtain in regards to the plans. the micrometer or vernier caliper will be your best friend otherwise

As you see no CNC for me, all made traditionally using hand operated machines. Initially I will use it to make the watch plates and bridges and possibly wheels and pinions. The Aciera is a very accurate machine.

plans with dimensions for any part i want to make. I work in metric and in imperial if necessary, I will be fitting a DRO to the F1 as it makes life much easier .
