Huge fan of the VC 82172. Been looking to pick one of these up for awhile. Prices have become really attractive on the pre-owned market. An interesting variation of the 82172 is the Japanese Market 82172/000G-B432 Patrimony Traditionnelle Japan 100th Anni... 

For those of you who have this watch, can you use straps with straight spring bars, or only curved spring bars like the OEM alligator (which would limit options)? Thank you

The RG is beauty personified with its cream matt dial making it seem it comes from an old, forgotten era. The platinum is the most chameleonic watch I have, as it can dress up or down infinitely. Enjoy! Alex

I haven’t had any many opportunities to wear it in a pandemic “casual” environment. But it remains a favorite dress watch of mine. So elegant for a 3 hander.  Your two are gorgeous! Cheers AH

The RG is excellent but that PLATINUM ! wow. I held it once awhile back in the metal and it is simply amazing! Best regards
