That VC is my all time favorite , I’m a suckers for a drivers style watch.
Plus, it looks great on your wrist.
I tried this on in Paris a few weeks ago.

This watch is great but doesn't look great in my opinion outside of a business shirt and jacket outfit.

I find the VC gold watch very light in general. The RL reminds me of the GO chronometer in white gold for its weight.
German watches will always feel more substantial.
And Swiss-German and German watches will always feel thicker, and Swiss-French watches are supposed to be thinner (although JLC doesn't always follow this rule).
How you managed to leave it behind is beyond me 😁
