Welcoming the New Year with an also new Traditionelle
Dear fellow PuristS,
this is my first post in the Vacheron Constantin section of this wonderful forum.
Let me use it to send to you my best wishes for a happy, healthy and fortunate New Year.
For myself 2024 ended in a most happy way.
Right on New Year's Eve I could finally pick up this long awaited little treasure:

A big thank you goes to the local Vacheron Constantin Boutique, which is a great place to be at. It was obviously not easy to allocate the watch for me.

I was surprised too that it was difficult even for a brand Boutique to source this seemingly „simple“ watch. It is the straight silvery white dial. No guilloche or other pattern. Which adds to the razor sharp appearance and modern looks that I love so muc...
May this mean that I am growing older? :-)
The good thing about „timeless classics“ is that they usually become such for a good reason. The risk is that they may be a too easy/obvious choice. Best, Martin
I am sure it would take quite a challenged or big wrist to make this watch not look great on it.
But indeed my wrist is on the slimmer side and the 38mm of the Traditionelle Manual together with the relatively short logs are very easy to wear. Thank you and best, Martin
