Vacheron Malte Chronograph, Dubail Edition, White Gold.

If we are thinking of modern Vacheron Chronographs, the " Les Historiques " is a milestone for me. The Cornes de Vache, introduced in platinum a few years ago, is playing a similar card.

The Malte Chrono is somewhat in between. The White Gold white dial is understated, the platinum is a step above. And there is this one, the " Dubail Edition ", with its black dial and red touches, here and there.

Cool, powerful, young... At the beginning, I didn't like it, I found it " out of place ". Now I quite like its coolness. At the point to possibly consider it...

What do you think?

Best,

Nicolas

My favorite modern VC that's a pure chrono ever made. I would love to own that particular piece one day. Malte chronos dont get much love and I dont know why. I happen to like the looks of it better than the Historques and Patrimony that came before then ...

Pleasure, dear Tom. [nt]

I had both WG and RG versions and miss them both. IMO way better than the 5070 for the $. Here is my version of the Dubial ...

Very much like it, to be honest :)

It is always nice to be reminded of this special Malte Chronograph

I have often thought of this special version of the Malte, which is very sporty, but it is too close in color and details to my Overseas Chronograph Special US Edition, a watch that has been with me for over seven years now and worn nearly every day since...

Dubai edition

Hi I must admit I’ve never heard or seen the Dubai Edition. It somehow looks bit out of order for VC
