Vacheron Constantin Top Wind in Yellow Gold.

Some ten years ago, I could see the Steel version of the Top Wind, with its characteristic crown at 12, housing a Lepine movement.

I recently discovered the yellow gold version and its stunning black dial. Assuming that all is correct on that watch, it is a pure marvel. ( Credit: Antiquorum ).

Well, if everything is right. I don't have enough knowledge to be sure, here. You will notice that the lugs are slimmer. I don't know why.

Anyway, between these two, I still prefer the steel version.

The case is 31 mm big, but it is so beautiful and charming. I regret having passed on the steel, to tell you all.

Best,

Nicolas
