I have just received by Vacheron Constantin HISTORIQUES AMERICAN 1921 and wow 👏💥 what a watch.
I tried the than Rose Gold Hitoriques in 2015 and even the New York Limited Edition but, for a reason or another, I didn't go for it. My brother got the RG and while browsing I learned more about the White Gold version released last year.
My understanding that these are pretty difficult to get now but, with a bit of luck I found one at my AD available now. So here it is in all its beauty:
If you have many watches the HISTORIQUES AMERICAN 1921still has its place because is unlike anything else. I am not a big driver but I am the dial orientation is perfect also at the computer 😁 but I probably will need a few days to get used to this new way of checking the time
The monochrome colors make it very discreet but not boring also thanks to the Serapian strap that is excellent and very comfortable
At 7,4 mm is a perfect dress watch but very versatile I would say, specially on this strap
Thre movement Caliber 4400 AS offers a good power reserve of 65 hours
Super happy and excited about this acquisition..perhaps it was destiny for me to wait the White Gold Version !

was really nice to see both the LF and the VP in live pics. If I will go for the LF in the future will also be the classic but so far am super happy with the VC!

yes really :) the LF option for me was only the Ecole so after gatheting some
further advice in the forum I decided for the VC because is just 💥and elegant

Absolutely magnificent! And well captured!
I've seen a lot of pictures of this VC (of course) but never before have I notised that the small seconds isn't angled like the rest of the dial, but vertical in the "normal" way. Can't believed I missed that! ☺️

Fyi, i had to wait for 6 mths to get mine, but well worth the wait in the end. Am waiting for my custom strap to arrive - to see how it looks.

I saw your notification via email and initially I misread that it took you 6 months to get used to it ! I love the OEM strap ..fits very well
It took me a month to get used to it when telling time. On setting the time, it still gets me even today, after about 5 months.
And yes i love the brown strap - super comfortable. Enjoy yours !
Indeed it’s special and functional.
I also learned that it prevents water from getting in through the crown when caught in a rain if worn on left wrist. Definitely unique like no other. Loving it.
