For me it is a personally historic acquisition as it made me love matt dials and really struggle for all non-matt ones. The sad thing is that these fantastic VC dials (like the grey one too) were made by the cadraniers de Genève who now belong to FPJ. I s... 

Indeed, the sale of CDG marked also the end of the possibility to order a bespoke dial for any VC model. Since then that option is not possible sadly 😔😔😔 All the best, Alex

With a completely different approach, which I struggle with. You cant any more customize an existing model. You either make a complicated one, or they offer a catalogue of non standard classical style cases with std movements which you can customize the d... 

My understanding is that they still do as part of the deal, but with a limited, focused range, like the blue overseas dial. Since the FPJ acquisition of CdG no more matt dial traditionnelles are being produced (even if on the website). no more ability to ... 

I have not met a version of this watch yet that I don't like, but the platinum with gray dial has haunted me for years. You wear them so well. Best, respo

VC represents haute horlogerie in the old school sense of the word, incl.. craftsmanship, manic attention to execution, etc. There are flaws in its approach (see generally bigger than ideal diameters), but it’s a brand I have a huge weak spot for, due to ...

I also agree the ivory matt one is a stunner. It is so rich/deep that unless experienced in the flesh it is hard to comprehend the quality. Have a great Sunday! Alex
