Thoughts on polishing
I'm considering a first generation Overseas. I had the chance to try this on eon over the weekend and noticed that the case and bracelet have been polished. It was serviced in Geneva in 2022 at which time a polishing of the case may have been performed. I am interested in thoughts/feedback (pro/con) on polished a vintage piece. ... to me it looks like all the case angles are gone. It's up to you but for me (judging from the pic, of course) it's a hard pass.
Polishing on watches is inevitable over time unless you get an NOS version or get one with scratches and dings - The main thing I consider is how much it has been polished and how well it has been done. I would compare this with other

The bezel is a tell-all
on the OS, so easy to round off with enthusiastic polishing. Case brushing looks very nice.
